Private garden in the Truro area 

 

The client requested a decked area covering most of the rear garden enclosed with a wooden fence on either side and then for a new lawn to be laid with some low maintenance planting. This site was sloping and was bordered with a concrete post and wire fence.
The decked area was designed on two levels with a balustrade and encompassed three raised beds with planting to soften the effects of all of the wood. One of the beds in the centre was planted with succulents, sedum, and an architectural plant. Finally the hedge was shaped at the back to form an arch that was both simple and effective.
